William H. Hanson

Biography

William H. Hanson, Attorney at Law, practices primarily in commercial transactional law, with an emphasis on loan documentation and real estate matters. His real estate practice has a strong concentration in timberland and forest practices work.

He serves on the Board of the Maine Library of Geographic Information representing real estate and development interests, and is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.

Bill has earned a Distinguished rating from Martindale. He was recognized by Chambers USA, and Best Lawyer in 2016.

Bill, a Penobscot County, Maine native, is a graduate of McGill University and the University of Maine School of Law. Since his undergraduate days in Montreal, Bill has continued his French studies, and now often works with Francophone European and Canadian clients.
