Biography
Frank T. McGuire, Attorney at Law, advises and represents organizations and individuals in a range of employment, labor, and personnel matters. Frank practices regularly in state and federal court, and before the Maine Human Rights Commission, the Maine Unemployment Insurance Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and other federal and state agencies. He is a past president and past secretary/treasurer of the Penobscot County Bar Association.
Frank is a magna cum laude graduate of Boston College and earned his law degree at Northeastern University School of Law. Born in Biddeford, Maine, Frank grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut. He served as law clerk to Associate Justice Francis J. Quirico of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court before he joined Rudman Winchell in 1980. Frank has earned a Distinguished rating from Martindale and is recognized annually by Chambers USA, SuperLawyers and Best Lawyers.
Frank and his wife Mary Ann live in Brewer, Maine. They have three grown children. In civic life Frank is a director and president of the Ellen M. Leach Memorial Home, an elderly congregate living facility, and a director and president of the Brewer Economic Development Corporation. He served for over 20 years as a commissioner of the Brewer Housing Authority.
