David C. King

Of Counsel


David C. King, Attorney at Law, has tried 126 cases to verdict in Superior and Federal District Court with a greater than 70% success rate. Recent successful trials include medical malpractice, premises liability, employment discrimination, motor vehicle, and animal liability cases.

David is a member of the John Waldo Ballou Inn of Court, and a founding member of the Maine chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. David is a member of the Governor’s Judicial Selection Committee, a founding member of the Federal Bar Association, Maine Chapter, and a former member of the Maine Civil Rules Advisory Committee.

David is a fellow of the Maine Bar Foundation and he is the attorney coach of the Brewer High School mock trial team.

He is recognized in Best Lawyers, Chambers USA, and New England Super Lawyers.

In 2017, David was named a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America.

David King, a native of Brewer, Maine, is a graduate of Bates College, where he was a Travelli Scholar, and a graduate of Boston University School of Law, cum laude, where he served as an editor of the Law Review. He is “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the organization’s highest rating.
